Viet Vote San Diego curated an immersive experience on March 13th, 2023 at the Mingei Museum. Where community members and allies came together to enjoy the array of cultural foods and learn about cultural folklore, values, and identities from each member of our diverse San Diegan Asian American community.
These stories allowed community members and attendees to delve into the rich cultural backgrounds of our Asian-American community members, shedding light on their journeys and the experiences around navigating both the generational and cultural bridges.
These folklores and storytelling from different Asian-American communities allowed for the cultivation of a safe and engaging space that celebrated the shared heritage and fosters meaningful conversations that bring us closer together.
